Currently, you cannot delete a domain name. You have to be careful not to make a typo while registering a domain name. Simply wait for it to expire, and don't renew it.
To give you the most accurate information about the availability of a domain name, we use several servers to search for domain names. Until the domain name gets propagated to all those servers, it will say that the domain name is available. You can go to your 'manage domains' area to check whether the domain name was registered. It takes about 24 hours for a complete domain name registration propagation to get completed on the nameservers.
However, as soon as your domain name is registered, you can make changes to the name servers, add URL forwarding, and create DNS records.

Creating the DNS record with an empty target with deleted that record.
Creating the URL forwarding record for your domain name with an empty target will delete the URL forwarding record.

No. The system will not charge you for anything except what you ordered for. Each time you checkout, a new transaction is created with a new order number. Until you complete a transaction, you will not be billed.
So, even if you receive multiple order confirmation emails, you will be billed only for one order number, for which you completed the transaction.
After you register a domain name, you must wait for at least 24 hours for a parking page to be assigned by the system. If you register a domain name with a different set of name servers, the default parking page is not created for the domain.
